The triptych displays sixty horses and ponies who are either British born or trained and who were competing, working , showing and living between 2000 and 2006.
The Sport and Performance panel depicts famous competition The Working panel features horses auch as Carl a pit pony, Hercules Tanya Larrigan's registered miniature horse, the Lloyds Bank horse Tarantino, Ella a logging horse, Thwaites Shire horses and Spartacus the Drum horse of the Blues and Royals. The centre head features Highlander, a Merseyside Mounted Police horse. The three panels fetched £25000 at auction at the Animal Health Trust Equestrian Awards Dinner in November. The money raised went towards the BHS charitable work for all horses and the AHT's Strangles appeal. Most of the sixty limited edition prints have now been sold but other items such as books, greetings cards, mugs and other gift items are available are available from the BHS and will be on sale throughout the year.
