Sport and Performance,Working and Breeds Panels
The Sport and Performance panel depicts famous competition
horses such as Ouija Board, Welham, Tamarillo and Donnersong
together with sporting champions including harness racer Scoot Around, polo pony Chesney, Prince Phillip Cup pony Bilbo Baggins and endurance arab Franzara. The centre head study depicts Jennie Loriston-Clarke's
sport stallion Catherston Springsteen.
The Working panel features horses auch as Carl a pit pony, Hercules Tanya Larrigan's registered miniature horse, the Lloyds Bank horse Tarantino, Ella a logging horse, Thwaites Shire horses and Spartacus the Drum horse of the Blues and Royals. The centre head features Highlander, a Merseyside Mounted Police horse.
The Breeds and Types panel includes Hack Secret Garden, Hunter Sunday Best, Cob The Duke, Highland Balmoral Moss, Welsh Section A Pendock Legend, and the Hollosay Suffolk Punch team.
The three panels fetched £25000 at auction at the Animal Health Trust Equestrian Awards Dinner in November. The money raised went towards the BHS charitable work for all horses and the AHT's Strangles appeal.
Most of the sixty limited edition prints have now been sold but other items such as books, greetings cards, mugs and other gift items are available are available from the BHS and will be on sale throughout the year. Please go to
